The viral video of a Mavs broadcaster destroying James Harden is being deleted because, apparently the world has gotten about soft.
On Friday night, Bally Sports’ Mavs announcer Brian Dameris ripped Harden to shreds in a three-minute rant for throwing Daryl Morey under the bus.
“If this doesn’t work this year, in this system, with this team, then you’re gonna go and point fingers at everybody else, and then you’re gonna go back home, and you’re gonna start swiping right for another team, and there’s not gonna be anyone left. Because James, you’re not the beard, you’re not the system, you’re the problem.”
After the video went viral, Bally Sports decided to take down the video off their social media pages.
According to Sports Illustrated’s Jimmy Traina, Bally Sports executives took down the video of Dameris’ Harden rant because they felt it went “against the network’s values.”
Sources told me that there was zero outside influence at all. The decision to take down the clip solely came from Bally Sports Southwest executives who felt the clip “did not reflect the Mavericks organization.” Somehow, those at Bally Sports Southwest were not in agreement with Dameris’s “editorializing,” according to a source, because it went against the network’s “values.”
Fans were clearly not happy with Bally Sports’ decision.
This is so soft it’s insane https://t.co/UVPiCVJ7XN

Thankfully you can’t keep stuff off the Internet forever and you can still watch video of Dameris’ rant here.
