You see the curiously maniacal antics by Kanye West on a daily basis and you have to wonder if it is all an act. Does a 38-year-old father of two children, who is a mega successful rapper and on top of the world really act like a spoiled 6-year-old brat in real life? According to leaked audio of Kanye having a meltdown before his appearance on SNL, he is an absolute horror to deal with.
Ye went ballistic on Saturday Night Live show execs and staffers 30 minutes before his performance last weekend and even called them “white motherfuckers.” Page Six reports that the ludicrous diatribe started when the stage was altered without the approval of his highness. Kanye exploded after “staffers ripped up some shiny flooring from his set because it was reflecting the stage lights, creating a confusing effect with the video wall behind him.”
“Look at that shit! They took my fucking stage off’ of SNL without asking me,” Ye can also be heard screaming. “I am bummed… Now I ain’t gonna do this, we’re breaking the motherfucking Internet.”
Kanye then went on Kanye-like rant that would make even make Kanye proud.
“Are they fucking crazy? Whoa by 50 percent [I am more influential than] Stanley Kubrick, Picasso, Apostle Paul, fucking Picasso and Escobar. By 50 percent more influential than any other human being. Don’t f–k with me. Don’t fuck with me. Don’t fuck with me. By 50 percent dead or alive, by 50 percent for the next 1,000 years. Stanley Kubrick, ‘Ye.”

Sources told Page Six that SNL head Lorne Michaels had to speak with Kanye to calm him down and persuade him to carry on with his performance.

“It was like he was having an emotional breakdown. He was calling the crew ‘white motherfuckers’ and then said he was going to walk out. The only thing that stopped him from actually leaving right then was that nobody had access to the freight elevator. If he’d walked out on the live show, it would have been a disaster. And the whole meltdown was just because of the floor.”
But it wasn’t only employees of SNL that felt the wrath of the diva, he also blasted Taylor Swift by calling her a “fake ass.”
