What’s up, BroBible? You might notice that my weekly ‘Things We Want‘ gear guide for men got a makeover this week. The new look design is meant to fit more with the style of my daily Everyday Carry Essentials features.
In this new format, I’ll be featuring a handful of standalone items interspersed throughout grids of items that caught my attention throughout the week. Not only will this cut down on load time of the page and make the user experience run better, but it will also allow me to feature more items each week that we all simply must have. I was recently turned onto prAna‘s sustainable clothing for men and I’m almost afraid to admit this, but I’ve been wearing their shorts almost every single day for a week. It’s not as bad as it sounds, I work from home and have a newborn son who’s less than two weeks old, so it’s not exactly like I’m out there in the world getting dirty yet. But I’m already infatuated with prAna‘s offerings.
What I’m loving the most about these prAna shorts thus far is the versatility. I live down in Florida, work from home, I have a pool out back. These shorts *look* like normal cotton shorts but they’re actually built to wear in and out of the water. I can step out back and do a flip into the pool and come back inside, these shorts will be dry in no time at all. I plan on wearing these ALL SUMMER LONG and I suggest you join me.

My dudes, just about the only running/workout shoes that grace my feet are Adidas. I’m a huge fan of Primeknit comfort and UltraBOOST shock absorption. I’ve lost 35-pounds since October mostly due to putting in five or six 45-60 minute cardio sessions a week and these shoes hold up like nothing else on the market. That’s why I’m really stoked to eventually give these UltraBOOST 19 shoes a shot.
They consist of 17 individual pieces but the shoe itself boasts a one-piece Primeknit 360 upper, a 3-D printed heel, 20% more Boost in the midsole, and a new torsion spring. Retro Bulova Computron

Debuted at Baselworld 2019, the Bulova Computron is one of the coolest and most retro-looking watches I’ve ever seen. This watch will come in two styles, both are pretty affordable. $395 for the gold plated model and $295 for the steel or black.
The watch has a crystal LED display and it pays tribute to the Bulova LED display watches from decades ago with this cool 70s/80s-style design. It’s set to hit the market in Fall 2019 and I’ll almost certainly be buying one for myself then.
