The 2016 Summer Olympics don’t start for another week, but it’s never too early to scout the talent that will be competing for gold in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Gorgeous Danish swimmer Pernille Blume is one of the athletes who I already have a vested interest in despite the Olympics not even beginning yet.

The 22-year-old all-world swimmer from Denmark competed in five different events at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. While Blume did not take home any medals, she still is extremely talented. Later in 2012, Pernille won a gold and bronze medal at the World Short Course Championships. In 2014, Pernille and her team won gold in the 4 × 100-meter medley relay at the World Short Course Championships.
