News Reporter Stops A Dad And His Son In The Middle Of The Blizzard And They’re Buying WHAT?!

While Winter Storm Jonas was dumping several feet of snow on Manhattan there was one kid who had recently gotten good marks on his tests that he deserved a prize. What prize was that? Well, it was an item from the only store that was open on 86th Street (between 2nd and 3rd avenue), L’Occitane. This is simultaneously the best and most awkward interview to come out of the East Coast blizzard, and it’s further proof that there’s no greater thing in the world than local news…watch, laugh, feel uncomfortable:

Just a journalist doing his job, asking some people on the street what they’re up to. A dad rewarding his son for a job well done, and a kid with the most awkward laugh in live TV history. Now I’m quasi convinced that this dad might be the world’s greatest troll, but that’s a discussion for another day. Also, I’m kind of shocked that the only spot on 86th street open was L’Occitane…How was that Uno Pizzeria closed? Or the Fairway Market? Those are some 86th street staples and they can’t even keep their doors open during a little blizzard, wtf?! (h/t r/videos)
