Colts Punter Pat McAfee Does Stand Up Comedy Set Taking Jabs At Coach Chuck Pagano And It’s Genuinely Hilarious

Colts punter Pat McAfee is the best punter in the league this year, by a long shot. With the Colts offense sucking donkey hog, McAfee has been forced to punt 37 times, the third most in the NFL, posting a league-best 46.2 net punt average. The 29-year-old West Virginia alum has proven that he’s well worth the 5-year, $14.5 million contract he signed back in 2014.

But McAfee is one of those rare athletes who has his sights set on endeavors beyond the sport that birthed his fame. He’s not afraid to try new avenues and be an amateur at something, and that quality has made him one of the most charismatic players in the league. And for a punter, that’s no small order.

Just in the past week, he’s been featured on BroBible for doing the Conor McGregor (ok Vince McMahon) strut after a booming punt, giving a hilarious Thanksgiving tribute on national television, and dropping the mic on Terrelle Pryor after Pryor disrespected him on Twitter.

The video posted above is further evidence that McAfee will likely still grace our television screens after his illustrious career comes to an end.

Matt’s love of writing was born during a sixth grade assembly when it was announced that his essay titled “Why Drugs Are Bad” had taken first prize in D.A.R.E.’s grade-wide contest. The anti-drug people gave him a $50 savings bond for his brave contribution to crime-fighting, and upon the bond’s maturity 10 years later, he used it to buy his very first bag of marijuana.
