Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers simply cannot stop talking about ayahuasca.

During his most recent guest appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, the 39-year-old four-time MVP once again discussed his experimentation with the drug, this time detailing how “applied medicine” has helped him to “see life more clearly.”

“Who am I outside of the number 12 you see on the field?” Rodgers said on The Pat McAfee Show on Tuesday

“Applied medicine has allowed me to see clearly,” Rodgers said as he chatted with McAfee for a final time following the 2022 season, while mostly discussing his NFL future throughout the hour. [Milwaukee Journal Sentinel via The Pat McAfee Show]

Rodgers — who called himself a “hippie” during the interview — also said that he won’t be traveling to Peru to take ayahuasca before making a decision on his NFL future

“There won’t be another sitting and ceremony before the decision, I can tell you that,” Rodgers joked. “Perhaps after.”

At this time, Rodgers has yet to inform the Packers on whether or not he feels like playing for them next season, despite the fact that he just agreed to a three-year, $150 million contract last offseason.

If Rodgers does return, the Packers will look to improve on a 2022 season that saw them finish 8-9 and miss the playoffs. While the Pack had a chance to qualify for the postseason on the final day of the season, they ultimately lost to the Detroit Lions at home by a score of 20-16, sending the Seattle Seahawks into the playoffs instead.

In the must-win game against the Lions, Rodgers — who won the NFL MVP award in 2021 and 2020 — completed 17/27 passes for 205 yards, one touchdown, and one interception.
