Chicago-born Big Boy is a Hip-Hop industry OG. He came up as a bodyguard for The Pharcyde and has held countless jobs over the years but those who knew him back in the day would find him unrecognizable now because the used to weigh 500 pounds and now he’s down to 250 pounds after losing half of his bodyweight following duodenal switch surgery back in 2003.
Appearing this week on the Showtime’s ‘All The Smoke‘ podcast with Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson, Big Boy was asked about an infamous story where he allegedly hid a gun in his belly fat while being searched from the cops.
Big Boy made a point of telling the full story from start to finish so people got the truth and not the rumors that have been floating around for years. It’s wild to think he somehow pulled this off.
It is hard for me to wrap my mind around having so much excess body that a gun can be hidden inside his belly rolls while being searched by the cops. And it sounds like the cop did a very thorough search.
Also, we’re talking about not just one but TWO guns hidden under his belly fat. I’m by no means trying to fat shame here, I am just having trouble processing having that much excess skin that you could hide two guns on your body and an officer of the law wouldn’t be able to find it while searching you.
