Due to his award season push for his movie Maestro, Bradley Cooper has been giving tons of interviews in recent weeks and has been saying things that — especially out of context — have made a fair few headlines, and not for the right reasons.

Earlier this week, for example, Cooper went viral for admitting that he wasn’t sure if he loved his daughter for the first few months of her life.

“The first eight months — I don’t even know if I really love the kid. It’s dope. It’s cool. I’m watching this thing morph,” Cooper said on an episode of Armchair Expert.

“That’s my experience,” he continued. “Fascinated by it. Loved taking care of it. But would I die if someone came in with a gun?” And then all of a sudden, it’s like no question.”

Movie fans began piling onto Cooper, partly because clowning on him has become something trendy to do in recent months and weeks. Also, he’s basically describing feelings that are associated with postpartum depression.

His latest batch of viral comments have also raised eyebrows, as he also detailed how frequently his father was in the nude and how often they showered together, which was apparently “always.”

While having a conversation with Armchair Expert host Dax Shepard, the pair said that their families were “naked all the time,” which prompted Cooper to say:

“And by the way, I was like that. Not with my mom but with my dad. My dad was always nude, always took showers with him.”

The worst part about Cooper’s award season efforts are that, by all accounts, he doesn’t really stand a chance in any of the major categories he’s nominated in, such as Best Actor (likely going to Cillian Murphy), Best Director (Christopher Nolan) and Best Picture (Oppenheimer).

Maestro is currently streaming on Netflix, while the Academy Awards will be held on Sunday, March 10
