A formerly married man and woman with ties to the “Subway” Jared Fogle pedophile case were sentenced to a combined 60 years in prison this week.

Fogle accomplices, Angela Baldwin, 40, and Russell Taylor, 50, were found guilty of producing, possessing and distributing child sexual abuse material.

Baldwin received 33 years and four months in prison for two counts of producing child sexual abuse material, one count of conspiracy to produce such material, and one count of possessing it.

Taylor, who ran a nonprofit organization founded by the ex-Subway pitchman, the Jared Foundation, was sentenced earlier to 27 years in prison on charges of traveling to engage in illicit sexual conduct with a minor, and distribution and receipt of child pornography.

Prosecutors claimed that the couple placed hidden cameras in their home to secretly record children some of which were Baldwin’s relatives. Baldwin and Taylor then allegedly shared the videos and photos with Jared Fogle and others, reports Fox 59 News.

“Russell Taylor and Angela Baldwin not only abused children by producing child sexual abuse material in their home, but also re-victimized children over and over again by contributing to the distribution of these images,” said FBI Indianapolis Special Agent in Charge Herbert J. Stapleton.

Former Subway pitchman Jared Fogle has been in prison since 2015

Baldwin has already served seven years for his offenses after providing evidence that led to the case against Fogle. Fogle was sentenced to 15 years in prison in 2015. He will receive credit for those years towards his new 27 year sentence.

In January of 2022, Jared Fogle spoke out for the first time since being sent to prison for being a pedophile in a handwritten letter.

“I really royally screwed up to wind up where I am,” Jared in the letter, adding, “I was selfish and entitled.”

In the years since his incarceration, Fogle, now 44, has filed a $57 million lawsuit against the prosecutors and judges who sent him to prison, filed another lawsuit against the parents of one of his victims, and attempted to gain his release from prison by claiming to be a “sovereign citizen.”

The earliest date that Fogle will be eligible for release from prison is March 24, 2029. He stated in his letter that he is very much looking forward to “re-starting” his life.
