A couple claim that they were kicked off a cruise ship because they were having loud sex. The randy pair have filed a lawsuit against the cruise line.

A German couple had just embarked on a cruise vacation of a lifetime in the picturesque Caribbean. However, they were kicked off the TUI cruise ship for allegedly having sex that was deemed to be too booming, leaving their balcony door open probably didn’t help the situation.

The couple were booted off the TUI Mein Schiff 5 ship for their boisterous lovemaking. Under orders of the captain, the couple was ordered to be removed from the ship after complaints from passengers. Apparently, the ship’s security entourage does not subscribe to the “if this ship’s a-rockin’ don’t come a-knockin” credo.

To make matters even worse, the couple were removed from the ship just one day into their two-week dream cruise. Allegedly, the duo were forced off the boat at the first port of the vacation at 1 AM on April 4, 2019. The couple claim that they were left “stranded” in Barbados with their luggage. To be fair, being stranded in Barbados isn’t a traumatic event like being stranded in say Camden or Cleveland.

The couple have since filed a lawsuit against TUI Cruises, but the cruise line says they were removed because of “security-related incident” and not boisterous copulation.

One of the booted passengers admitted that they were “a bit loud” and that they engaged in a “disagreement,” but they didn’t escalate into violence, and no damage was done to the cabin. The pair were identified as “Renate F.” and “Volker.”

The couple then had to make travel arrangements to fly from Barbados to Paris and then take a train to Germany. They allege that getting back home to Germany cost more than $10,000.

The couple are suing TUI Cruises for damages, compensation for “pain,” and are demanding the cruise line to reimburse their unforeseen travel expenses.

A TUI Cruises spokesperson gave a statement on the lawsuit: “Due to a security-related incident, we have made use of our house right and asked the guests to leave the ship. This was done to protect the guests themselves and other fellow travelers.”

“There has already been a correspondence with Mrs. F in which we have set out our view of things,” the cruise line stated. “Please understand that we do not want to comment on the privacy of our guests in detail.”

I mean, the couple weren’t throwing anyone off a balcony which seems to happen fairly frequently on cruises, so loud sex probably shouldn’t be a crime punishable by being removed from the cruise ship.

What if it wasn’t the couple’s fault? What if the hospitality crew assigned to their stateroom made a risque towel animal that spurred them into action?
