As much as I try to be happy for people who win big money playing the lottery I just can’t seem to do it. Mostly because I am jealous AF and don’t understand why I can’t be that lucky person who hits the jackpot and never has to work again.
Which leads me to another one of the reasons I tend to dislke these people so much. What kind of psycho wins millions of dollars and keeps working at their job? We’ve seen it happen time and time again with lottery winners and I will never understand it, I don’t care what their reasons are. (This guy gets it.)
Then there are the people who win tons of money that I don’t think really deserve it. For instance, the couple who won million dollar scratch tickets THREE TIMES IN FIVE YEARS.
Another example of this injustice happened again this week with Missouri couple Marilyn and Jimmie Lovelace.
You see, back in 2007, Marilyn and Jimmie won a $3.7 million jackpot playing Lotto. This week, they won another $50,000 playing Powerball, matching four out of five numbers.
Jimmie said they like to play Powerball and Lotto, using Quick Pick to select their numbers, reports the Missouri Lottery.
This turn of events leads me to some questions…
• After winning $3.7 million, they still play the lottery?
• How many tickets are they buying each week these days?
• How old are they and would they like to adopt me?
• Why is life so unfair?
