Marvel Studios/Sony Pictures
- The official trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home was released on Tuesday night.
- Movie fans are, once again, suspicious of Doctor Strange’s seemingly bizarre behavior.
- The massive multiversal MCU event film will hit theaters in the United States on December 17.
Stop us if you’ve heard this one before: Marvel Cinematic Universe fans are quite suspicious of Doctor Strange’s behavior in the latest trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home.
After the first teaser trailer dropped back in late August, fans were convinced there’s was something strange about the Sorcerer Supreme other than his name, given his willingness to cast a dangerous spell for the sake of Peter Parker and the odd snow-covered status of the Sanctum Santorum (some even thought this was a sign that Strange was being possessed by the devil).
Well, following the release of the first “official” trailer (trust me, I’m not sure what the difference between teasers and trailers is anymore, either), MCU fans across the globe are still convinced that something is just *not quite right* with Doctor Strange.

Well, what do we think about the new #SpiderMan: #NoWayHome trailer?
Still can't really sort out #DoctorStrange's behavior here, but it was pretty cool to see the old Spidey villains together in that last shot. At this point I'm kind of just ready to see the movie https://t.co/oc2HGmPudU

British Doctor Strange talking with British Spider-Man in American accents. That's the real magic trick.

Spider-Man: No Way Home — the fourth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Phase 4 following Black Widow, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, and Eternals, and 27th film overall — stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker / Spider-Man, Zendaya as MJ, Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange, Jamie Foxx as Electro, Alfred Molina as Doc Ock, and Willem Dafoe as Green Goblin. By the time the film is over, that cast list will likely add a few more names — such as Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield — to it as well. The film is scheduled to hit theaters in the United States on Friday, December 17.
