Eddie Murphy And Snoop Released This Banging Reggae Song 6 Years Ago And YouTube Just Got Around To Showing It To People

Every once in a while, a buried treasure is unearthed on YouTube and catches fire.

Sometimes, the discovery is due to a bored viewer falling deep into a rabbit hole.

In this case, YouTube just finally got around to suggesting the video to people.

Back in 2013, we covered this collaboration between Eddie Murphy and Snoop Dogg – then Snoop Lion – on the reggae banger “Red Light.”

“I didn’t want to leave it at ‘Party All the Time,’” said Murphy about his singing career in a new interview with Rolling Stone. “All I’ve been doing is making music. I haven’t been working on films, haven’t been developing movies, or any of that shit.”

The song was off Murphy’s album, 9, an album Murphy never got around to releasing.

It’s a shame there’s no album because this song is catchy as hell.

The video has over 22 million views, even though many people are seeing it for the first time this week.

It just showed up on my YT homepage yesterday, out of the blue. Turns out, I wasn’t alone.

Here are some of the funnier comments from YouTube.
