Frida Sofia Guzman Munoz, the 18-year-old granddaughter of imprisoned drug kingpin Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman, has been traveling Europe and recently joined in on the search for the Loch Ness Monster.

Frida is the daughter of Edgar Guzman Lopez, the eldest son of “El Chapo,” and the niece of the leaders of Los Chapitos faction of the Sinaloa Cartel, Ovidio Guzman and Joaquin Guzman Lopez.

According to the Herald, Frida Guzman has been visiting several countries in Europe, including England, France and Scotland.

In addition to participating in a search for the Loch Ness Monster in the Highlands, Guzman also partook in a whisky tasting experience at Johnnie Walker Princes Street in Edinburgh and viewed Edinburgh Castle from Castle Street.

Frida Guzman, who we last saw competing as a singer on the TV show Tengo Talento, Mucho Talento, said she fulfilled a dream while visiting London when she sang on the streets with a busker in Leicester Square.

“Objective accomplished,” she wrote on Instagram.

She also, according to her Instagram pictures, visited Buckingham Palace and the Tower of London in England, as well as the Louvre Museum and Versailles in Paris.

Frida Guzman’s father was murdered by rival cartel hitmen in a shopping center parking lot in 2008 in a reported case of mistaken identity. Her mother is now married to Mexican boxer Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.

Emma Coronel Aispuro, Guzman’s grandmother and the wife of “El Chapo,” appeared in season two of the VH1 reality TV show Cartel Crew.

She was arrested in 2021 on drug trafficking charges and aiding her husband’s 2015 escape from prison.
