Eminem looks unrecognizable in a new TV role for 50 Cent’s new show BMF (Black Mafia Family). The show’s producer – 50 Cent – blasts Starz for allowing the episode with Eminem to leak.

What Is BMF?

BMF premiered on September 26, 2021, and was renewed four days later after the series notched the number one premiere of the year on the Starz app.

The synopsis of the show from Variety, “BMF is inspired by the true story of two brothers who rose from the decaying streets of southwest Detroit in the late 1980s and gave birth to one of the most influential crime families in this country. Demetrius ‘Big Meech’ Flenory’s charismatic leadership, Terry ‘Southwest T’ Flenory’s business acumen and the fraternal partnership’s vision beyond the drug trade and into the world of hip-hop would render the brothers iconic on a global level.”

Marshall Mathers appears on the show as White Boy Rick – whose real name is Richard Wershe Jr.

Who Was White Boy Rick?

Wershe, 52, was arrested at the age of 17 for possession of 8 kg of cocaine. He was sentenced to life in prison in 1987. Wershe was released in July 2020 after being granted parole. Wershe served the longest sentence of any nonviolent minor in Michigan history, according to his lawyer – Nabih Ayad.

He claims that the FBI and Detroit Police groomed him to be a drug informant at 14-years-old.

“They taught him the tricks of buying and selling narcotics, while providing him money, drugs and a fake ID – only to disavow him when he was arrested for cocaine,” Wershe said, according to CNN.

In August, the real-life White Boy Rick said it was an “honor” to have the hip-hop legend portray him in the television show.

“I think he’ll kill it, whatever he does,” Wershe said of Eminem.

Fans got a sneak peek of the episode featuring Eminem on Sunday when there was a technical glitch on the Starz app that accidentally released the episode. The episode starring Eminem was yanked shortly after, but screencaps and video clips of an unrecognizable Eminem leaked onto the internet.

The BMF episode featuring Eminem as White Boy Rick will be officially released on Nov. 14 on all Starz platforms.

The episode was directed by BMF executive producer 50 Cent AKA Curtis Jackson. The rapper turned television producer thanked Slim Shady for appearing on BMF.

“Episode 7 of BMF is the best work i have done directing to date,” 50 Cent wrote on Twitter. “I’m disappointed that STARZ handled this so poorly. I used my personal relationships to make things happen they couldn’t have made happen. @eminem thank you for doing this for me. I love you bro.”

50 Cent Blasts Starz For ‘BMF’ Leak

50 Cent was furious that the highly-anticipated episode leaked, and blasted Starz – threatening to leave the network.

“Starz is a sh-t show, they better sell it fast,” 50 Cent said. “They put the f-cking BMF show on, then took it down. what network does sh-t like that? They just ruined the anticipation of The episode i directed, I WORKED HARD ON THIS. I can’t work with these people anymore.”

“They called me saying they wanted to hold episode7 back a week so we can roll right into GHOST. I said cool.” 50 Cent continued to rip Starz. “Then these sh-thead people put the f-cking episode out for 3hrs & take it down. This is not ok when I get uncomfortable i make everybody uncomfortable now who getting fired?”

He added, “Well who is responsible for the glitch? Tell them to pack their sh-t up and change the pass codes, Raising Kanan the streets need a body.”
