Emma Stone had a busy night at the Academy Awards on Sunday, to say the least.

Not only did the 35-year-old A-lister take home her second Oscar for Best Actress in an upset win over Lily Gladstone, but she was also seemingly caught on camera calling the ceremony’s host Jimmy Kimmel a “p—-.”

She wasn’t the only A-lister to seemingly become a bit perturbed by one of the host’s cracks, as Robert Downey Jr’s slightly fed-up reaction to Kimmel’s joke about his former substance abuse issues.

Stone won the Academy Award for Best Actress for her work in Yorgos Lanthimos’ Poor Things. This is the second time in her career that she’s won Best Actress, having previously brought home the trophy for her work in the 2016 film La La Land.

“It’s about a team that came together to make something greater than the sum of its parts. And that is the best part about making movies, is all of us together,” Stone said during her acceptance speech.

“And I am so deeply honored to share this with every cast member, with every crew member, with every single person who poured their love and their care and their brilliance into the making of this film. And Yorgos, thank you for the gift of a lifetime in Bella Baxter. I am forever thankful for you. Thank you for inviting all of us to be members of this team. Thank you,” she continued.

In somewhat typical Stone fashion, the beloved actress began her speech by pointing out that she’s ripped her dress down its back.

“Hoo boy, my dress is broken. I think it happened during ‘I’m Just Ken.’ I’m pretty sure,” the two-time Oscar winner began.

Stone’s win wasn’t without controversy, however, as many — including the betting odds — expected Gladstone, the star of Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon, to take home the prize.

Following her Best Actress-winning performance in Poor Things, Stone’s next film is also set to be directed by Lanthimos as she’ll be starring in his project Kinds of Kindness, which releases later this year.
