I think we can all agree that it is hard for us to come to the reality that the cast of ‘Entourage’ was acting and that guys like Turtle and Ari Gold aren’t actually Turtle and Ari Gold in real life. We have come so attached to these guys throughout the years that it is nearly impossible to imagine them any other way. However, 16 years after the first episode of one of the most successful shows of all time, Kevin Connolly who played Eric Murphy on the show, has blessed us with the beautiful truth that Johnny Drama is very much Johnny Drama in real life.

It was the tragedy of the Malibu fires in 2018 when the Entourage star, Kevin Dillon, sprung into action the same way that Johnny Drama would.

“Kevin Dillon, when the Malibu fires happened, refused to evacuate his house in Malibu, and saved his house with a hose,” Kevin Connolly explained. “So yea, maybe that’s a Johnny Drama thing.

First of all, it was such an intense time and if you don’t live in California, I don’t think you can fully understand it. These people were losing their dream homes, they were burning down. It was pretty terrible. He saved his house with a hose. When I heard about the evacuation I sent him a text and I knew, I would have bet my life he wasn’t evacuating. And there he was, he saved his house.

He was next-door neighbors with Nick Nolte, who unfortunately lost his house, and he told Nick ‘I tried, I tried to save Nolte’s house too.’ Kevin’s a fucking man, Kevin is a man’s man. Kevin will also be happy to throw you a beating if you want to step outside; yeah Kevin is a tough customer. And he was out trying to save other peoples houses, Kevin is a great guy, I love Kevin.”

Connolly then went on to say how much he believes Dillon deserved an Emmy for his performance in ‘Entourage’. He raved about his acting and how good of a person he is overall.
