Last summer, after rocking a pink see-through Valentino dress to a fashion so, the “controversy” surrounding acclaimed actress Florence Pugh became so absurdly overblown that she actually addressed it directly on Instagram.

“It isn’t the first time and certainly won’t be the last time a woman will hear what’s wrong with her body by a crowd of strangers, what’s worrying is just how vulgar some of you men can be. Thankfully, I’ve come to terms with the intricacies of my body that make me, me. I’m happy with all of the ‘flaws’ that I couldn’t bear to look at when I was 14,” Pugh’s post, which you can find here, read in part.

Now, almost exactly a year later, the Marvel Cinematic Universe star and Academy Award-nominated actress decided to run it back as she wore yet another sheer gown to this summer’s Valentino Haute Couture show in Paris.

Obviously, given the nature of Pugh’s outfit, we can’t post any of the photos here, but you’ll be able to find them easily enough on her Instagram account and on Twitter (or what’s left of Twitter, at least).

In addition to her role as Yelena Belova in the MCU and her Oscar-nominated performance in Greta Gerwig’s Little Women, Pugh is also known for her work in projects such as Fighting with My Family, Ari Aster’s Midsommar, and Olivia Wilde’s infamous misfire Don’t Worry Darling.

2023 is set to be another massive year for the rapidly-rising 27-year-old Pugh as she has starring roles in two of the biggest movies of the year: Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer, which hits theaters in a few weeks, and Denis Villeneuve’s Dune: Part Two, which releases in November. You can check out the trailers for both those films at the bottom of the page.

Next year, Pugh will also be making her return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as she’s set to star in Thunderbolts, which is currently scheduled to hit theaters on December 20, 2024.
