  • The film, which will also feature Alfred Molina’s Doc Ock from Spider-Man 2, along with various other villains, hits theaters on December 17.

Of all the iconic villains returning in Spider-Man: No Way Home, the one I’m most excited to see, by far, is Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin, who helped usher in a new generation of superhero movie-making back in 2002’s Spider-Man. Luckily for me, not only has it been confirmed that Goblin will feature in the film, but some rumors indicate he will, in fact, be the main antagonist of Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Regardless of how important Green Goblin’s role ultimately is or isn’t, the character will be bringing the heat all the same as he looks absolutely *insane* in this latest look at the film, which is hitting theaters in the United States on Friday, December 17.

The first media screening for Spider-Man: No Way Home will take place on Monday, December 13, so expect reactions from critics and journalists alike to follow shortly thereafter. In addition to Dafoe’s Green Goblin, Alfred Molina’s Doc Ock, Jamie Foxx’s Electro, Rhys Ifans Lizard, and Thomas Hayden Church’s Sandman will all be returning.

Spider-Man: No Way Home — the fourth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Phase 4 following Black Widow, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, and Eternals, and 27th film overall — stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker / Spider-Man, Zendaya as MJ, Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange, Jamie Foxx as Electro, Alfred Molina as Doc Ock, and Willem Dafoe as Green Goblin. While Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Men have yet to be confirmed, odds are they’ll show up, too. The film is scheduled to hit theaters in the United States on Friday, December 17.
