After largely rejecting the idea of revisiting his iconic sitcom, Jerry Seinfeld recently made some comments that suggest something involving Seinfeld could be in the works.

During the Q&A session that he usually holds at the end of his stand-up shows, the 69-year-old Seinfeld told the crowd at the Wang Theatre in Boston that “something is going to happen” in regards to Seinfeld, which went off the air 25 years ago in 1998.

According to reports from the show, Seinfeld was asked whether or not he liked the finale of his iconic sitcom, which let to him telling the audience “a little secret” about the ending.

“Well, I have a little secret for you about the ending. But I can’t really tell it because it is a secret. Here’s what I’ll tell you, OK, but you can’t tell anybody. Something is going to happen that has to do with that ending. Hasn’t happened yet,” Seinfeld said.
“And just what you are thinking about, Larry and I have also been thinking about it. So you’ll see, we’ll see.”

As Seinfeld famously told the late Larry King in a clip that’s been going viral in recent days, the finale pulled in a massive audience, as 75 million people tuned in.

Seinfeld premiered in 1989 and ran for nine seasons (180 episodes) until 1998. The series is not only considered to be one of the best sitcoms ever made but one of the best television shows ever.

As a result of the series’ success, Jerry Seinfeld has a net worth of nearly $1 billion as of 2023.
