American treasure Kate McKinnon appeared on The Tonight Show Tuesday night when the conversation turned to a discussion about how Gal Gadot’s recent appearance hosting Saturday Night Live went. As is the case with pretty much every else who has met Gadot, McKinnon came away from their meeting very impressed with the Wonder Woman star.

“She’s like not that special, right?” McKinnon joked about Gadot. “I’m kidding! Oh my gosh, she really made an impact down at SNL.”

McKinnon continued, explaining how she and co-star Aidy Bryant felt in Gadot’s presence, “Now we know that we are Midwestern toads compared to this Mediterranean goddess. Everything she says is like a prophecy.

“I asked her, like, do you have hobbies, Gal? And she was like (in her best Gal Gadot voice), ‘I love to go to the beach. I love to paddle board. I love to watch my children run on the sand. I love to go to the Maldives. Do you have a hobby, Kate?’ and I was like, ‘I watch Dateline.’ Everything she said was magic.”

McKinnon then relayed a story about the weekly dinner the SNL crew has with that week’s host. Needless to say, at the dinner, Gadot, as McKinnon put it, “changed the game.”

At another point in her interview with Jimmy Fallon, McKinnon revealed that she “relates” to goats, including the part where they are not afraid to eat a little garbage now and then. It seems that at one point Aidy Bryant, who McKinnon shares an office with, ate half a scone, wrapped it up and threw it in the trash.

“She came in, we started talking. About an hour went by and I thought, eh, I would like the rest. So from her perspective, she just saw me, out of nowhere, reach into the can and start eating. And continue the conversation. And she was like, ‘Kate, you’ve eaten garbage.’ And I was like, ‘It’s not garbage until it goes outside. It’s just food in a plastic bin. Waiting to be eaten.'”

Awesome. George Costanza would approve.

Also during her visit, McKinnon, who was there to promote Ferdinand, showed off some of her more impressive voice-acting skills…

McKinnon also teamed up with Fallon against Patton Oswalt and The Roots’ Tariq Trotter in a hilarious virtual reality version of Pictionary. Spoiler: they didn’t win. And it didn’t matter.
