Earlier this week, we brought you the bombshell report that Disney was tasking none other than Marvel Cinematic Universe mastermind Kevin Feige with developing a new Star Wars movie.

Given Feige’s practically immaculate track record with producing Marvel Studios movies, it should come as no surprise that Disney is looking to unleash their ace in the hole on one of their most valuable franchises — a franchise that has had its fair share of ups and downs since the premiere of Star Wars: The Force Awakens back in 2015.

Now, with the “Skywalker Saga” is set to come to a close this winter with the release of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, Disney is beginning to lay the groundwork for the future of the franchise and are entrusting Feige’s very safe hands.

And if this latest tweet from Captain America Chris Evans in indication, he wants to be in on the Feige space opera magic when the time comes.

While Evans may have just hung up his Captain America shield within the last year, he’s clearly ready to get back in bed with the House of Mouse and continue cutting those Disney checks.

Evans isn’t the only headlining MCU actor to be attached to Feige’s Star Wars film, as rumor on the internet has it that Brie Larson is also being eyed to star in the project, with Feige reportedly already telling a “major actor” that he has a role for them.
