Sad news stoners. Those of you who order Filet-O-Fish sandwiches with extra tartar and pickles are not going to be able to satisfy your late-night cravings. McDonald’s is changing their late-night menu and limiting what foods you can and can’t order.
Starting on April 30, there will be certain food items you’ll be able to purchase between midnight and 5 AM. The Artisan Grilled Chicken Sandwiches, Buttermilk Crispy Chicken Sandwiches, Filet-O-Fish, premium salads, Snack Wraps, Buttermilk Crispy Tenders are not available on the new and not improved late-night menu. No Hot ‘n Spicy McChicken?

So what can you order? Big Mac, Quarter Pounder burgers, Chicken McNuggets, All Day Breakfast, Happy Meals, Sweets & Treats (If the ice cream machine is actually working), McCafe and other beverages, French fries and all other sides will be available for your late-night food binges. Happy Meals and McFlurries made the cut, thank the fast-food gods above.
The new menu is to ensure that there are no long lines at Mickey D’s at 1 AM and to serve food “as fast as possible.” “We always want our customers’ experiences to be simple, smooth and delicious – any time of day,” McDonald’s said in a statement. “That means, day and night, we’re always looking for ways to serve them even better.”
So all of you night owls need to get to the Golden Arches before midnight if you want that fancy food.
