Megan Fox wants to be known as more than a pretty face. She’s an intelligent, well-rounded, hard-working mom who is tired of being slut-shamed, being called a bad parent, being exploited by Hollywood, and she doesn’t care who knows it – even the people who pay for her lavish lifestyle.
Speaking to InStyle magazine, the 35-year-old Fox made her position in Hollywood very clear.
Fox says her career resurrection (?) is “a little bit like being a phoenix, like being resurrected from the ashes.”
“I was brought out and stoned and murdered at one point,” Fox says about the past decade of her career. “And then suddenly everybody’s like, ‘Wait a second. We shouldn’t have done that. Let’s bring her back.'”
Wow. Stoned and murdered.
But now, with films like Think Like a Dog, Rogue, and Till Death under her acting belt over the past two years Megan Fox is … back?
Oh sure, the only times we have actually seen her anywhere has been when she’s half-naked, doing odd things with her new boyfriend Machine Gun Kelly, but sure, she’s back.
And don’t be giving her any lip about the four-year age difference between her and MGK. (Who is doing that?!)
“You want to talk about patriarchy? The fact that he’s four years younger than me, and people want to act like I’m dating a younger man. He’s 31, and I’m 35,” Fox tells InStyle. “Granted, he’s lived like he’s 19 his whole life, but he isn’t 19. No one would blink twice if George Clooney was dating someone four years younger. Four years? Go f–k yourself. We would have been in high school together. That’s so ridiculous that women are treated that way.”
She loves telling people to go f–k themselves.
Meanwhile, Megan Fox’s ex Brian Austin Green seems to be doing well, writing on Instagram about his new girlfriend, Australian ballroom dancer Sharna Burgess (who is 11 years younger than him – the audacity!), “It’s been a really long time since I’ve been with someone I can truly share life with.”
Side note: Do you know who I think would make a fan-tastic couple? Fox and A-Rod. Think about it.
