Take A Tour Of The New NCL Bliss, Norwegian Cruise Line’s Biggest Ship Ever That Has Go-Karts

Earlier this month we got to take a tour of Royal Caribbean’s Symphony of the Seas, the largest and most expensive cruise ship in the world. Not to be outdone, Norwegian Cruise Lines have debuted their biggest cruise ship ever and while it may not be as enormous as Symphony of the Seas, the NCL Bliss has some extraordinary features.

The Norwegian Bliss mega cruise ship is 1,082 feet long making it 36 feet longer than the Chrysler Building. The ship has 20 decks, weighs 168,028 tons, has 2,038 staterooms that can accommodate 4,004 passengers. There is no shortage of activities on this massive vessel to keep you thoroughly entertained while sailing the high seas. There are multiple pools, Aqua Park, Aqua Racer multi-story waterslide that take you over the edge of the ship, open-air laser tag course, and a go-kart track where racers zoom 30 mph on the 19th deck.

All that fun can really build up an appetite, so there’s plenty of food options ranging from a Texas barbecue with live country music to a taco joint to fresh seafood to a chocolate shop to a Starbucks as well as many more restaurants on their boardwalk-themed area. Don’t forget about indulging in an adult beverage or 13 because there’s a mojito bar, a wine bar, a craft brewhouse, and whiskey bar. There’s a giant gym, a huge spa, plus Broadway shows including Jersey Boys.

Norwegian Cruise Lines took delivery of the NCL Bliss last Thursday in Bremerhaven, Germany from German shipbuilder Meyer Werft. The Bliss will cross the Atlantic Ocean, travel through the Panama Canal and make its way to Seattle. Starting on May 30th, the Bliss will take cruise passengers through frozen fjords to view glaciers in Alaska. The Bliss will eventually position itself in Florida for Caribbean cruises. Take a video tour of the incredible new cruise ship.
