Last week, the Pentagon released more declassified UFO files. However, some of the information in the files doesn’t relate to UFOs; instead, one file describes alleged encounters with Skinwalkers and other bizarre creatures in Utah. Even better, these documents include witness sketches of some of the creatures.
The drawings come from a 60-page report included in a list of 28 documents the Department of War released on October 23rd. As we previously reported, this latest declassified file drop also included claims of a mysterious black triangular UFO and alien bodies from the infamous 1947 Roswell incident.
Government Investigators Looked Into Claims Of Skinwalkers In Utah
The recently released Pentagon files detail an investigation that researchers at Bigelow Aerospace Advanced Space Studies (BAASS) conducted in March and April 2010. The investigators traveled to an area near Fort Duchesne in Utah, where witnesses claimed to have seen many strange creatures and unexplained events.
These witness accounts included huge, furry, wolf-like creatures walking on two legs; small humanoids with abnormally long arms; floating orbs; giant worms; and bird-like creatures similar to prehistoric flying reptiles.
One witness, however, claimed to have seen a six-foot-tall Skinwalker run past his house.
Skinwalkers are part of Navajo lore. Tradition holds that breaching strong tribal taboos or committing a serious act of corruption, such as killing a close relative, could turn someone into a Skinwalker. The creatures are thought to be able to assume the forms of animals like coyotes, wolves, owls, foxes, or eagles, and can also imitate human sounds or the cries of infants in order to lure people into danger.
The witness in Utah claimed that his dogs chased after the creature, which had dark fur, pointed ears and a German shepherd-like head with a more human-looking nose. The investigators even took hair samples from a barbed-wire fence where the creature was said to have become entangled.

According to Los Angeles Magazine, 11 witnesses who were interrogated independently reported seeing such creatures, with some estimating their height to be between six and seven feet.
In addition to conducting electromagnetic measurements and investigating the use of plants as biological sensors for potential radiation or chemical exposure, BAASS staff erected seven digital trail cameras throughout the ranch and adjacent properties.
Unfortunately for anyone wanting the government to finally find proof that Skinwalkers are real, the investigation allegedly didn’t reveal anything out of the ordinary.
The Government Has Investigated Numerous Claims Of Paranormal Encounters
This isn’t the first time government documents have shown investigations into paranormal activity in Utah. As we previously reported, declassified files from 2024 released by the Pentagon’s All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) revealed government investigations into strange activity at the infamous 512-acre Skinwalker Ranch, located southeast of Ballard, Utah.
Over the years, reports of paranormal activity at Skinwalker Ranch have included missing and disfigured cattle, multiple UFO sightings, Bigfoot-like creatures with red eyes that were allegedly unaffected by bullets, odd lights and orbs, impressions left in the grass and soil, and invisible objects emitting hazardous magnetic fields.
In another bizarre incident, the family of a Pentagon UFO investigator reported seeing a werewolf-like creature outside his Virginia home. The creature was reportedly seen twice, walking on two hind legs and gazing into his family’s home.
UFOs have also been reported around houses near Boston, where witnesses claimed to have seen shape-shifting creatures. That location is allegedly the home of a legendary swamp creature known as the Pukwudgie.
