Student loan debt will likely be a big discussion point leading to the next presidential election, at least on the Democratic side of the aisle, because millions of Americans are drowning in it.
The total amounted owed is in the trillions, and workers are giving up vacation days to pay bills off, getting assists from beer companies, and some people are even moving to China to pay down debt.
Moving to another country probably isn’t necessary, but if you live in one of the worst states for paying off student debt, you might want to consider packing up stuff and getting the hell out.
