Tennessee Governor Bill Lee just made arguably the biggest fast food announcement in decades, In-N-Out Burger will soon call Tennessee home.

The Volunteer State will soon welcome the first-ever In-N-Out Burger corporate office on the East Coast. This will pave the way for the first In-N-Out restaurant locations up and down the Eastern Seaboard.

In-N-Out Burger has long maintained that it wouldn’t move to the East Coast if it compromised freshness and quality. In order for an Eastern expansion to happen the supply chain would need to be in place. That all starts with an Eastern corporate office.

TN Governor Bill Lee said “I’m proud to welcome In-N-Out Burger, an iconic American brand, to the Volunteer State.” He added “Tennessee’s unmatched business climate, skilled workforce and central location make our state the ideal place for this family-run company to establish its first eastern United States hub. We thank In-N-Out for planting roots in Williamson County and creating new jobs for Tennesseans.”

According to News Channel 5, this In-N-Out expansion will bring 277 jobs to Tennessee’s Williamson County.

In-N-Out Burger President/Owner Lynsi Snyder-Ellingson spoke about this huge announcement. Saying “This expansion is significant for our company. For many years, we’ve heard requests from our customers in Tennessee to consider opening locations near them, further east than we’ve ever been. Our customers are our most important asset at In-N-Out, and we very much look forward to serving them in years to come and becoming part of the wonderful communities in the Volunteer State.”

The Bristol Motor Speedway wants in on the action:

They’ve already got a new Tennessee flag/logo design ready to go:

As a fellow Floridian, I co-sign this:

Can we bring Whataburger to SW Florida though??

‘Californians flocked to Tennessee…’ Sure, yes, all 12,000 of them from a state of nearly 40 million people…

It is a bit surprising that Tennessee landed In-N-Out Burger over Atlanta, Georgia.
