The Rock Gym Accident

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s workouts – and accompanying videos on Instagram – are legendary.

His upper body routine will melt a regular man’s pecs off, his bicep routine isn’t over until he’s done this “hellish” finisher or the time he warmed up for the day by ripping down the electric gates at his house.

Obviously, things get intense whenever The Rock steps into a gym. The actor and athlete showed just how intense in an Instagram video.

“Sometimes, well oftentimes, things get a little intense here in the iron paradise but we ain’t playin’ tiddlywinks and we ain’t reciting nursery rhymes,” explains The Rock, while showing off a gash above his left eye. “You get lumped up every once in a while and things happen.”

The Rock then takes a finger, swipes the blood, and gives it a taste.

“That’s good. That’s real good,” he jokes. “Now, back to work.”

Only The Rock can taste his own blood and make a person want to workout.

In the caption, Johnson explains what happened and just how delicious his blood tastes:

“Threw around my 50lb chains for a drop set – I got lumped up and need stitches.

Taste your blood, keep training and stitch up later – rules of the house.

And I can confirm my blood tastes like Teremana, calluses and BlaMoan (black and samoan) Hot Sauce.

Have a productive week, my friends – keep it light and a lil’ fun, but get after it like a MF.”

Johnson always gives 110% in the gym and he’s either preparing for a film, getting ready to put on the pads when the XFL relaunches, or preparing for a possible return to the WWE for a WrestleMania match against his cousin, Roman Reigns.
