If you’ve been following Tyrese on social media, it’s no secret to you that his posts have become the brain children of Shia LaBeouf and Jaden Smith. Completely unhinged.

For those who aren’t in the loop, the Fast and the Furious star has been dealing with a highly-publicized  custody battle with his now ex-wife Norma Gibson and recently blamed the antidepressant drug Rexulti for his bizarre behavior. That behavior includes, but is not limited to, blaming Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson for his financial problems, lying that Will Smith and Jada Pinket Smith gave him $5 million to dig him out of his money woes, and even threatening to walk away from the lucrative Fast & Furious franchise.

Well, new reports indicate that the 38-year-old is not doing much to keep himself out of a financial mess. According to Page Six, Tyrese filed documents that state he earns about $105,686 per month but has monthly expenses that total $107,576 per month. Extrapolated over a year, that amounts to $1.29 million just in expenses.

Some of his monthly dues include paying $7,500 in childcare for his 10-year-old daughter Shayla, $9,744 in groceries and $14,869 for his home’s mortgage; however, the court documents state the actor-rapper has $884,658 in cash and savings, and his property is worth $1,761,250.

$10,000 a month on groceries!?! That is $111 PER MEAL.

Tyrese took to Instagram before a court hearing earlier this month and was fighting back tears while telling his 9.1 million followers that he spends $13,000 per month in legal fees in his ongoing custody battle with his ex-wife and needed financial help. According to the court documents obtained by Page Six, Tyrese has already paid his attorney, who charges $700 per hour, $68,055 but still owes $133,750.

Damn, that spending makes Johnny Depp look like a penny pincher. It sounds like Tyrese is in a bad headspace right now, hopefully the dude can dig himself out of it and assert that energy into making movies.

Matt’s love of writing was born during a sixth grade assembly when it was announced that his essay titled “Why Drugs Are Bad” had taken first prize in D.A.R.E.’s grade-wide contest. The anti-drug people gave him a $50 savings bond for his brave contribution to crime-fighting, and upon the bond’s maturity 10 years later, he used it to buy his very first bag of marijuana.
