Speaking of celebrities who appear to actually be pretty decent people, beginning this past May, 52-year-old Will Smith has been on a mission ever since he developed what he calls a “dad bod” while self-isolating during the pandemic.

“I’m gonna be real wit yall – I’m in the worst shape of my life,” he wrote on Instagram.

“This is the body that carried me through an entire pandemic and countless days grazing thru the pantry,” Smith wrote in separate Instagram post. “I love this body, but I wanna FEEL better. No more midnight muffins…this is it! Imma get in the BEST SHAPE OF MY LIFE!!!!! Teaming up with @YouTube to get my health & wellness back on track. Hope it works!”

Smith has been keeping himself honest and sticking to his fitness regimen by posting numerous photos and videos showing his progress on social media.

As one might expect, Smith has also interjected some humor into his workout posts.

“Please don’t use this pic to photoshop me into precarious situations,” he captioned the next photo.

“Y’all did me DIRTY!!” he exclaimed when, of course, people immediately did.

In Will Smith’s latest fitness video, we see him getting in his daily 10,000 steps. Not because he wants to do it, but just to spite his friend.

“My friend Aaron doesn’t think I can walk 10,000 steps a day,” the voice on his video states. “Now, I gotta get to 20,000 steps on my Fitbit to make sure Aaron doesn’t walk again.

“Damn, that sounded cold-blooded. I didn’t mean to make it sound like I was gonna break his legs. But the way he’s jawing at me definitely means I’m gonna outwalk this joka.

“Not because it’s good for me, but to prove Aaron wrong. Yeah I’m petty like that!”

“Y’all tell fitbit to sponsor me yet?? #imreadytoinfluence #fitfam #fitnessmodel #teamfitbit #fitibitpartner #ad #spon #fitness #influencer #fitnessmotivation #healthylifestyle #howmanyhashtagsdoineed #fitbit @fitbit,” Smith captioned the video.
