Nerf’s Latest Toy Is A $200 Remote Control Drone Tank That You Can Livestream Your Sneak Attack

Earlier this year I fell in love with the Nerf Rival Khaos MXVI-4000 Blaster, a toy that shoots foam balls 70 MPH at your frenemy Nerf war combatantsThen they released a Battle Racer car that made me wish that I was eight years old again to justify such a purchase. Now Nerf announced a new toy that’s rocketing to the very top of my Christmas list: The Nerf N-Strike Elite Terrascout RC Drone Blaster.

The N-Strike Elite Terrascout RC Drone is a remote controlled tank outfitted with a cannon that can shoot 18 foam darts in an attack. What’s really clutch, however, is the vechicle’s 720P HD camera. Like some truly stealthy military technology, it will stream a POV of your attack on the remote itself. You can also record the video on an SD card for YouTube glory.

It’s not cheap — retail price is $200, but it makes sense when you think about how sophisticated this toy is. If you’re looking for something much, much cheaper for your next office Nerf war, check out the pocket blaster. It won’t break the bank in your arms race for Nerf glory.
