13 ‘Things We Want’ This Week: Jeans, Luggage, Everyday Carry Knives And More!
Alright, bros, it’s time again for the weekly ‘Things We Want’ feature. It’s a collection of the hottest gear I’ve come across this week. Ranging from items I desperately want in my life to things I’ll never be able to afford, I try and include a cross section of everything here in the ‘Things We Want‘ roundup. If you know of a product that you think should be featured in my weekly Gear Guide then feel free to hit me up via email at email@example.com.
Bros, this might shock you to hear but until I picked up a pair of the Volcom ‘Stone Made’ collection jeans I hadn’t bought a new pair of jeans in almost 10 years. My old jeans have lasted, and I’ve become almost entirely a chinos man. I live in Florida and jeans can be brutal in the humid heat down here….But I’ve seen the light. I’m legitimately a changed man after wearing these Volcom Stone Made jeans. The stretch cone denim is the most comfortable denim I’ve ever put on my body. These jeans fit better than any pair I’ve ever owned. I don’t want to sound overly enthusiastic here, but I’m willing to go ahead and call these jeans ‘perfect’. They are both water and stain resistant, and the stretch enables you to get active in them without having any movement hindered.
The ‘Stone Made’ collection by Volcom comes in multiple styles, including Chinos and Jeans. I don’t know you, or your body type, so I don’t ant to steer you in any particular direction. Just follow the link below and check out your new favorite pair of jeans.
The all new 30″ Spinner from Genius Pack is a total game changer for frequent travelers. To me, the greatest feature of this item is the built-in removable laundry bag. This allows you to keep your dirty clothes separate from the clean items when you’re on the road. There’s a secluded laundry compartment with compression technology (integrated air valve)…I mean, that’s awesome, right? The 30″ Spinner design is based on the best-selling check-in luggage from Genius Pack.
Luggage is often expensive, but it doesn’t have to be. Righ tnow, the 30″ spinner from Genius Pack is marked down and you can save $140 by following that link below!
On the hunt for a new everyday carry pocket knife? This re-curve blade folding knife from Schrade caught my attention earlier this week and I had to share it with you bros. You can find cheaper knives out there, sure, but how badass does this knife look?
Fishpond USA made a ton of waves this year at ICAST, the world’s largest sportfishing convention. One line of items that caught a lot of people’s attention were the roll top waterproof backpacks. I haven’t had the chance to get hands on with any Fishpond products myself, but I keep hearing fantastic things so I figured I’d shared this badass backpack with you bros.
Soft Science blew everyone away at ICAST 2017, the largest sport fishing trade show of the year. The Terrafin is this year’s hottest fishing boot. It’s lightweight, cushioned, and stable. The sole is a non-marking/non-skid material so it will never leave marks on the boat. It drains and dries quickly. Everything about this canvas boot is perfect for fishing.
Quality art is expensive as shit. Unless you’re loaded or come from a loaded family, or a family or artists, chances are you have some posters around the pad and one or two quality pieces. The Depict Frame is the world’s first museum-quality digital canvas, and it’s blowing minds across the art community. It features a sleek wooden frame, and a 49″ 4K digital canvas.
These limited-edition Costa del Mar sunglasses are part of a collaboration with OCEARCH, one of the premiere shark tagging research outfits on the planet. These come outfitted with Costa’s best-in-industry 580 polarized glass. Each purchase of the limited-edition OCEARCH collection benefits shark research. If you’re on the hunt for new fishing shades, these are them.

It’s hard to find a reliable instant thermometer, and that’s what sets the Maverick PT-55 Rain Drop Waterproof Instant Digital Thermometer apart from the pack. This is an extremely fast and reliable thermometer. The temperature Range runs from – 4°F to 572°F (-20°C to 300°C). There’s an auto-off power setting that conserves battery life. This is on the higher end of what you’ll need to spend on instant thermometers, but you’ll be buying the finest around.

Dash cams can be a valuable insurance policy in an accident, or they can just be a lot of fun to record your road trips. It seems like every other day a new dash cam video goes viral! With the Magellan MiVue 538 you can record HD video while you drive in crisp, minute detail. There’s no need to stumble to turn it on and create a dangerous distraction, this camera has an impact sensor that starts recording right before a collision and has an auto-on function that lets you record the important stuff automatically.
