WWE.com posted another “Where Are They Now” piece today.
The website caught up with former WWE Tag Team Champion, and current member of the WWE developmental team, Joey Mercury.
Mercury, real name Adam Birch, had huge success in the mid-2000s as a member of MNM with Johnny Nitro and Melina. The pair held the tag team belts on three different occasions.
In the “Where Are They Now” piece, Seth Rollins of The Shield had incredibly kind words to say about the former WWE star. Rollins said the group considers Mercury to be a fourth member, having worked with all three members during their time in developmental and on the WWE roster.
“He’s a mastermind when it comes to wrestling psychology,” said Rollins of Mercury, “and the ins and outs of being in the ring. He loves teaching people how to do things and do them better.”
