Have you ever wondered how and when you’ll die? I know I sure as shit have every time Disney puts out some film about a witch telling some kid the future. Or that scene from HBO’s Game of Thrones where Cersei Lannister met with Maggy the Frog, a soothsayer from Lannisport who told Cersei three prophecies about her future. Crap like that gets stuck in my head, and I can’t help but wonder when I’m going to exit this earth. Thankfully for me (and you bros) there’s now an interactive tool that tells you (1) how you’re most likely to die and (2) when you’re most likely to die, and it tells you this based on you Race, Sex, and Age.
The tool takes your age/sex/race and starts from your current age and gives you the percentages on causes of death for every age going forward AND it tells you what percentage of the population that should be that age is still alive and what percentage has already kicked the fuckin’ bucket and gone to the afterlife in Elysium.
For instance, say you’re a 23-year-old white male…here’s what your life looks at age 70, your most likely causes of death, and the chances that you’re already dead:
Or maybe you’re a 22-year-old black male…here’s what you life looks like at age 60, the likelihood that you’re still alive, and your most likely causes of death:
I ran the numbers for my own age/demographics and I was happy to find out that my chances of still being alive are greater than 50% until about 74.5-years-old…So I’ve got plenty of time to keep dicking around on the Internet.
