Joey Barge sent home work shorts wears dress

20-year-old bro Joey Barge decided that since it was going to be in the 90s he would be more comfortable wearing a pair of shorts to work. He even picked out some nice clean navy blue shorts that looked as professional as shorts can look. Sadly, his boss wasn’t having it and sent him home to change clothes. What he did next was not only pure genius, it actually scored him and the other men at work a major victory.

Barge, who works at a call center (where I assume no one but his co-workers see him), had a feeling he wasn’t going to get away with wearing shorts before he even got to work and tweeted this photo with a question.

“If women can wear skirts/dresses at work can I wear smart shorts like so?” he asked.

It took all of a half an hour before he had his answer.

“Answer: nope. Just been sent home from work,” Barge revealed.

According to the Mirror, Joey explained, “The office is so hot and I sweat so much and feel uncomfortable. I’m fuming. A quarter of the office are wearing vest tops and skirts/dresses…”

So, knowing the company’s dress code, Barge decided to hell with it and decided to return to work in this dress.

He even worked a sweet selfie in before returning.

Naturally, Barge figured that this move also wouldn’t fly, but off to work he went.

“See you soon, twitter. I’ll be sent home soon,” Barge tweeted.

Instead of being sent home, however, Barge apparently forced a change in dress code for very warm days as the company announced, “Due to the extremely warm temperatures currently, it has been agreed that… gentlemen in the office are permitted to wear 3/4 length shorts.”

“Partial win? he tweeted.

No, Joey, TOTAL win.
