Aaron Rodgers’ NFL future is one of the most intriguing storylines of the upcoming offseason. The star quarterback has a number of potential suitors spanning from coast to coast.

On Thursday, he seemingly removed one team from the list, which has only caused speculation to grow amongst football fans.

Rodgers appeared at the Pebble Beach Pro Am this week where he was asked about his current NFL situation. Reporter Cole Knost asked the passer if there was any news that the public needed to be made aware of as the postseason comes to a close.

Here was his answer.

“I’m not going to San Fran.”

The 49ers have been one of the top potential landing places for Aaron Rodgers. In fact, San Francisco was considered the No. 2 suitor according to recent odds released by Bookies.com.

It appears that’s changed, and a now viral clip shows him scratching the Niners off the list.

Fans were quick to react to the video as they posted responses online.

One fan wrote, “Aaron Rodgers to the Raiders confirmed.” The Raiders rumors have taken off after former teammate Davante Adams suggested that Rodgers could wind up in Vegas.

Another person thinks the Big Apple better suits the quarterback, saying, “Rodgers is a Jet.”

Aaron Rodgers threw for nearly 3,700 yards in 2022 to go along with 26 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. The Packers won four of their last five games but missed out on the playoffs for the first time in four seasons.

Chances of a return to Green Bay grow slimmer as the organization is reportedly looking at trade offers involving the MVP passer. He may not be a Packer in 2023, but it doesn’t sound like San Francisco will be the next team to land him.
