The newest member of the Birmingham Stallions is a familiar face for football fans in Alabama. Over the weekend, rumors began to swirl that former Crimson Tide running back Bo Scarbrough was set to join the USFL.

That news was made official on Monday and the two-time national champion reported to practice on Wednesday. Upon his arrival, Scarbrough looked to be in fantastic shape and his arms were the size of massive pythons.

Beyond the state of Alabama, the 27-year-old running back is a familiar name for SEC football fans and those who love college football.

Over the course of his three seasons with the Tide, Scarbrough was a beast. Although played mostly second or even third fiddle in the backfield, he was absolutely dominant with the ball in his hands.

As a redshirt freshman in 2015, the Tuscaloosa County-native backed up Heisman Trophy winner Derrick Henry along with Kenyan Drake, and Damien Harris. He only recorded 18 total touches on the season, but 10 of them came in a breakout game against Charleston Southern.

As a sophomore in 2015, Scarbrough saw his best season with the most rushing attempts alongside Harris and Josh Jacobs. He ran the ball 125 times for an average of a massive 6.5 yards per carry and 11 touchdowns.

During his final year, Scarbrough had 124 touches for 596 yards while he split time with Damien Harris, Jacobs and Najee Harris. Over the course of his career, he averaged more than 5.5 yards per carry. When he got the carry, he would either run a defender over or simply out-run them. Or both.

For someone who stands 6-foot-1, 235 pounds, Scarbrough has remarkable speed.

Scarbrough left Alabama after the 2017 season and was selected in the seventh round of the 2018 NFL Draft. Since then, he has spent time with the Cowboys, Jaguars, Seahawks, Lions and Raiders.

Now he is the newest member of the Stallions and looks absolutely jacked.
