The Iowa Hawkeyes took down the LSU Tigers to book a ticket to the Final Four for a second consecutive season. In the process, they got revenge on the team that beat them in last year’s national championship game.

Near the end of this most recent meeting, star forward Angel Reese fouled out, putting a frustrating end on a disappointing night. New footage from that moment shows Gabbie Marshall mocking Reese as she makes her way to the bench.

Making the taunt all the more personal, Marshall hit Reese with her own move!

Earlier in the NCAA Tournament, Angel Reese was seen waving goodbye to a Middle Tennessee State player who’d picked up her fifth foul. Reese appeared to coax the officiating crew into making that call with an egregious flop before trolling her opponent as she walked off the court in tears.

On Monday, the LSU star got a taste of her own medicine!

Late in the action with the game all but decided, Reese was called for a questionable charge which effectively ended her night. Gabbie Marshall took the moment to give her a personal sendoff!

Brutal!

Iowa fans joined in on the fun, waving goodbye to Angel Reese while her head coach Kim Mulkey erupted on the bench.

While the Tigers fell by double digits, the game delivered on excitement. The two powers were tied at halftime in that rematch before the Caitlin Clark show took over.

Iowa’s superstar racked up 41 points, hitting three-point shot after three-point shot. That performance helped the Hawkeyes advance in the Big Dance while LSU’s season came to an end.
