It has been over 65 days since former Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Antonio Brown took his uniform off and quit the team in the middle of a game against the New York Jets. With more than two months passing since the incident, the future of AB’s NFL playing career is still very unclear but he did give an update on his intentions to buy the Denver Broncos with rapper Kanye West.

In the immediate aftermath of walking away from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Antonio Brown launched his rap career by dropping ‘Pit Not The Palace’. And Brown is now set to perform at Miami’s Rolling Loud music festival where he’ll perform that track in front of a large audience for the first time.

Then there’s this whole ‘we want to buy the Broncos’ saga that popped up in February. At the time, Brown suggested that Donda Sports should buy the Broncos with him. For what it’s worth, the sale price of the Denver Broncos is expected to eclipse $4 BILLION and while Kanye West is believed to be a billionaire he and AB absolutely cannot afford the Broncos. But that won’t stop them from trying, will it?

Are Antonio Brown and Kanye West Serious About Buying the Denver Broncos?

Antonio Brown says to TMZ‘s cameraman “Tell Roger [Goodell] to call me. We’re working on it … We’re working towards getting it done.”

Ah yes, ye olde ‘tell him to call me so HE knows I’M the serious one here’ negotiation approach. Sixty percent of the time, it works every time…

What Are Fans Saying About AB Buying The Broncos With Kanye?

Antonio Brown Isn’t Focused On Another Super Bowl Ring…

Whether or not anyone takes the Denver Broncos interest of Antonio Brown and Kanye West seriously, the portion about a Super Bowl ring was actually pretty telling about the future of AB’s NFL career.

Cameraman: What means more to you, a Grammy or a Super Bowl ring right now?

Antonio Brown: I already got a Super Bowl ring so hopefully I can get a Grammy.

When asked about ‘having some nerves’ ahead of the Rolling Loud Festival performance, Brown called it the ‘biggest performance ever’ which is quiiiiitteeee the stretch.

Rolling Loud brings in 75,000 fans which makes it a big festival but pretty small in the grand scheme of things. EDC Las Vegas pulls in 400K, New Orleans Jazz Fest brings in over 400K, and those two festivals barely crack the top 10 list. Furthermore, Antonio Brown has played football games in front of enormous crowds. But it’s nice to see he’s excited for Rolling Loud.
