Antonio Brown has been off his rocker now for the past year or so, with the current free agent wide receiver staying relevant for all the wrong reasons. Not long ago, AB was considered the best wideout in the NFL, but, since having a falling out with the Pittsburgh Steelers and demanding a trade last offseason, he’s seemed absolutely insane, doing a bunch of wild things that have made some wonder if he actually already has CTE from too many hits to the head.
It’s been a sad fall from grace for Antonio Brown, who is currently going through a helluva lot off the field as he waits to hear from the NFL about any potential future on the field. As he waits for any chance to get back into the league, though, Brown isn’t doing himself many favors, openly burning bridges with a couple teams — one of which is the New Orleans Saints.
First, Antonio called out the Saints after the team brought him in for a workout late in the 2019 NFL season and didn’t offer him a contract. Frustrated, he even went as far as saying the move was nothing but a “publicity stunt” by the franchise, which absolutely didn’t help prove to teams he had matured a bit.

Fast forward to today, Antonio Brown is still laying into the Saints, going on some rant about the franchise when asked on a Complex podcast about what happened with the team a few months ago. Rather than play things PC and say the right thing, Brown took things even further, doubling down by blasting the franchise for allegedly protecting pedophile priests — which stems from a report that broke in January. Here’s what AB said to Complex about his thoughts on things.

Whether the unfortunate report about the Saints and the catholic church is true or not, what in the hell is Antonio Brown doing by talking about it? Like, man, you’ve acted crazy for the past 15 months and a lot of NFL teams aren’t coming within 10 feet of you, so why bring more negative attention onto yourself?
As a refresher, per the AP, here’s the report of the allegations, which claims the Saints are fighting to prevent emails that proved they helped the Archdiocese from covering up sexual abuse from going public.
Attorneys for about two dozen men suing the church say in court filings that the 276 documents they obtained through discovery show that the NFL team, whose owner is devoutly Catholic, aided the Archdiocese of New Orleans in its “pattern and practice of concealing its crimes.”
“Obviously, the Saints should not be in the business of assisting the Archdiocese, and the Saints’ public relations team is not in the business of managing the public relations of criminals engaged in pedophilia,” the attorneys wrote in a court filing. “The Saints realize that if the documents at issue are made public, this professional sports organization also will be smearing itself.”
It’s clear Antonio Brown has something wrong with him if he’s doing shit like this while he’s actively looking for a job, and, while this won’t make or break him with any team other than the Saints (probably), it’s such a bad look to toss himself into the middle of an unfortunate situation that’s highly sensitive. AB needs to just take a timeout from talking for a little bit.
