It’s been close to a month since the Raiders decided to part ways with Antonio Brown thanks to him being a bigger pain in the ass than an infected hemorrhoid but he still managed to find a new home with the Patriots despite his rocky track record.
It seemed like the perfect opportunity for Brown to get a fresh start but things quickly started to fall apart when his former trainer came out and accused him of sexually assaulting her on three separate occasions.
Brown found himself on the receiving end of more allegations less than a week later when another woman came forward and said he’d stripped down to his birthday suit and approached her while she was painting a mural in his home.
Shortly after, the woman in question revealed Brown had sent her intimidating text messages, which was apparently the last straw for the Patriots, who unceremoniously released him.
Last week, Drew Rosenhaus came out and claimed multiple teams had approached him about possibly picking up Brown (who wasn’t placed on the commissioner’s exempt list despite plenty of speculation) but the agent said they’d have to wait until the NFL concluded its investigation.
Now, it appears the league is taking its sweet damn time looking into the matter, as Jeremy Fowler reports Brown still hasn’t been interviewed by anyone concerning the allegations.
Antonio Brown has not interviewed with the NFL as part of the investigation into alleged sexual assault, according to a source. With Brown's status as a free agent, it's unclear how cooperative he plans or needs to be.

As Mike Freeman reported a couple of weeks ago, some people believe this is a calculated move by the NFL to keep Brown off of the field but there’s no real way to confirm the theory.
Several teams are telling me they think the league’s investigation into Antonio Brown will last most, if not all, of the this season. They think this is strategic on the league’s part—it will essentially prevent Brown from playing this year.

With that said, it seems unlikely that we’ll see Brown on the football field at any point in the near future.
