Arizona State football’s Case Hatch does a little bit of everything. He plays fullback and H-Back primarily, but he also sees snaps at tight end and on special teams.

No matter where he is on the field, he plays like a man possessed.

The 6-foot-1, 230-pound redshirt junior walked on to the Sun Devils program as a linebacker. He was only a two-star prospect out of high school but had a dominant senior season and recorded 174 total tackles, 19.5 tackles for loss and seven sacks.

Thus, when he arrived on campus in Tempe, Hatch was quickly recognized for being a grinder. He learned that he was on scholarship in December of 2019 and was named a co-captain ahead of this season.

Now he’s an important staple in the Arizona State offense.

And he loves lighting dudes up on special teams.

Hatch plays hard and hits harder. The Arizona-native is an absolute maniac on the gridiron.

Through the first four weeks of 2021, Hatch has broken two facemasks in-game. He even had to take the field for a kickoff with a mangled mask before the equipment team could fix it.

Hatch says that he kept the first facemask he broke as a trophy and plans to do so with the second. Assuming that this won’t be the last, he wants to put them all on a chain, which would be awesome.

Make fullbacks great again!
