Plenty of gamblers throw money down on longshot parlays in the hopes of striking it rich, but most of those bets end in disappointment. However, one man was understandably overwhelmed after a $5 wager turned into a Christmas miracle.

There was plenty of NFL action on the slate over the holiday weekend, which meant anyone who was residing in a place where sports betting is legal had plenty of options if they wanted to try to make some money.

That includes one man who hopped on FanDuel to lock in a 14-leg parlay in the hopes every player he selected would score a touchdown when everything was said and done—a lengthy Christmas list that looked like this:

  • Najee Harris
  • Gabriel Davis
  • Jahmyr Gibbs
  • DK Metcalf
  • Jerome Ford
  • Chris Rodriguez Jr.
  • Jonathan Taylor
  • Calvin Ridley
  • James Conner
  • Raheem Mostert
  • Javonte Williams
  • Isiah Pacheco
  • D’Andre Swift
  • Christian McCaffrey

The bettor in question only stood to lose $5 if it failed to hit, but the +9787650 odds it gave came with an upside of $489,383.01.

Well, things were looking pretty good by the time Monday night rolled around, as every single player had managed to punch the ball into the end zone aside from McCaffery—a man who recently tied an NFL record by scoring a touchdown in 17 consecutive games.

As a result, you have to imagine the guy was feeling pretty confident, and he decided to stream himself watching the showdown between the 49ers and the Ravens with a couple of buddies while clad in a Santa outfit.

With less than four minutes to go in the second half, the bet officially hit when McCaffery took a nine-yard run to the house, and the celebration was officially on once he took a look at the replay to confirm his knee wasn’t down before crossing the goal line.

Must be nice.
