It has been a roller coaster of emotions between quarterback Brandon Weedon and the Dallas Cowboys this year. But it ends with the former Dallas QB taking shots at Cowboys owner Jerry Jones.
Back in September, Jones was tossing outlandish verbal bouquets to Weeden.
Jerry Jones on @1053thefan: Brandon Weeden is "a thing of beauty throwing the football. Frankly, you won't see a more gifted passer."

However, the Cowboys lost all three of the games that Weeden started for the injured Tony Romo. He had a high completion percentage, but threw only one touchdown against two interceptions.
Well things soured between the backup QB and the overzealous owner. In November, Jones had a much more critical view of Weeden in an interview on 105.3 The Fan.
On @1053thefan, Jerry Jones says that Matt Cassel would have won the games that Brandon Weeden lost.

“On the other hand, if you want to look at any aspect of this team you can say well, if we would have been in better shape had you had Matt Cassel in the spring, rather than Weeden, and I’m not trying to knock Weeden, but if we would have had a guy like Cassel in here than we might have made a difference there, so put that one ultimately on my shoulders for sure.”
Matt Cassel was then named the starter over Weeden, and he was released in mid-November.
On Sunday, Weeden led the Texans to a 34-6 win over the Tennessee Titans, which pretty much punched Houston’s ticket to the postseason. Weeden completed 62.5 percent of his passes for 200 yards and three touchdowns (two passing, one rushing) in the game. It was Weeden’s first win as a starter since the 2012 season. Now with the Texans headed to the playoffs and the Cowboys headed to the golf course, Weeden has gotten his revenge on his former employer.
On Monday, Weeden appeared on 107.7 The Franchise, and was asked about Jones.
The host asked Weeden, “Will it be extra satisfying because of what Jerry said to see the Cowboys completely just turn into a dumpster fire if you’re in the playoffs?”
Weeden responded by saying, “I mean yeah, absolutely. … We get to play extra football and he’ll be watching on his couch.”
Weeden’s replacement in Dallas, Cassel, went 1-6 as the starter for the Cowboys.
Meanwhile the Texans have a pretty decent chance at making the playoffs.
The Texans currently have a 99.97 chance of making the playoffs. Even in Houston, that's a lock, folks. Celebrate.

Can’t get much more devastating for the Cowboys, not only do they miss the playoffs playing in the shitty NFC East, but now Brandon Weedon and his career 76.0 quarterback rating is poking fun at Dallas.
