With the franchise set to feature in the NFL Hall of Fame game in early August, the New York Jets are set to begin their summer training camp next week, which will officially kick off Aaron Rodgers’ tenure with the team.

One of the New York Jets players that sounds particularly excited about the Jets’ acquisition of the four-time MVP is running back Breece Hall, who looked like a potential Pro Bowler before he injured his knee during his rookie season.

During a recent appearance on NFL Total Access, Hall said he thinks the Jets’ offense is going to have an answer for “everything” that’s thrown at them this season.

“I mean with the offense we have right now, I think we have an answer for everything,” Hall told the NFL Network’s NFL Total Access.

“If you don’t want to load the box, Aaron’s going to get the ball off all day, if you do we’ve got the RPOs and we’ve got him to take shots, and we have the receivers that are going to make plays for us as well. And if the offense is struggling, we have the backbones of our defense to rely on, so we’re excited for that, for sure.”

As for Hall’s current status, the 22-year-old Iowa State University product remains confident that he’ll be available for the Jets’ season opener in early September.

“I’m doing pretty good right now,” Hall said of his rehab. “I’ve been saying I’ll be ready for the first game, so right now I’m just focusing on getting my knee as strong as possible, just getting that confidence back. But it’s been going well so far.”

Hall, Rodgers, and the rest of the New York Jets will kick of their 2023 season with a Monday Night Football matchup against the Buffalo Bills, who have won the AFC East division for the last three years.

The Bills will be a massive test for the Jets right out of the gate, as Gang Green is expected to be a Super Bowl contender for the first time in a decade.

On the eve of NFL training camps beginning, the Jets currently have the seventh-shortest betting odds to win next season’s championship, with only the Chiefs, Eagles, 49ers, Bills, Bengals, and Cowboys boasting better odds at this time.

During his rookie season, Hall — who the Jets selected with the 36th overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft — played in seven games and started in two, racking up 80 carries for 463 yards (5.8 yards per carry) and four touchdowns to go along with 19 catches for 218 yards and another receiving touchdown.
