The college basketball world believes it knows where Bronny James will commit. The famed recruit was reportedly on campus at one of his top suitors this week.

That visit has led to an eruption on social media as fans speculate on the guard’s future.

James’s recruitment has been followed closely due to both his play and his family ties. The son of the NBA’s all-time leading scorer has been a topic of conversation since becoming a legitimate prospect a few seasons ago.

As the five-star player wraps up his senior year, his college decision looms.

Bronny has seen a number of interested programs reach out, though he narrowed his list to three teams in January to include Oregon, Ohio State, and USC.

That list was reportedly cut to just two, with one specific suitor sticking out as the leader in the clubhouse.

This week, Bronny James was seen on the campus of that suggested leader, which led many to speculate that his decision has been made.

James was spotted at USC on Wednesday as he toured the school and got more familiar with the program.

The Trojans have long been high on his radar, and predictions continue to flood in for his commitment on both On3 Sports and 24/7 Sports.

Southern Cal would not only give Bronny the opportunity to play for one of the PAC-12’s (Big Ten?) premiere programs, but it would also allow him to stay close to his father in Los Angeles.

In fact, in the days before that reported visit to USC he was seen rooting on the Lakers in their playoff series against the Grizzlies alongside staff members from the school’s athletic department.

The noise around James and USC has all but given confirmation to many around the college basketball world.

Analyst Jeff Goodman said in a recent podcast, “Too many stars are aligning. The biggest one is, LeBron isn’t going to send his kid all the way to Columbus, OH… He wants to play with Bronny, and [at USC], he can walk into [head coach] Andy Enfield’s office and try to control matters to make sure he has the best shot to be able to move quickly to the NBA.”

Others online also believe it’s a done deal. Check out the immediate response on social media.

Conveniently enough, a spot on the roster just opened up with guard Tre White entering the transfer portal.

A decision for Bronny James will come soon enough. We’ll see if the Trojans are indeed the choice.
