After spending much of the 2025 season sidelined due to injury, Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark has shown up to the 2026 preseason absolutely shredded. And fans are taking notice.

Speaking to the media on Wednesday ahead of the start of the 2026 WNBA season next month, Caitlin Clark went viral on social media for her absolutely shredded apperance.

“Taking care of my body at this point in the season is probably the most important thing,” Clark told the media. “As a young person, you just grab your basketball shoes and lace them up and go play. And that wasn’t obviously something that was going to help me through the longevity of my career.”

The WNBA is certainly counting on Clark to stay healthy this year, as it was announced this week that all 44 of the Fever’s regular season games will be nationally televised this year, cementing her status as the league’s top draw.

After appearing in 40 games during her rookie season, the 24-year-old Clark appeared in just 13 games last year due to soft tissue injuries. In those 13 games, Clark averaged 16.5 points, 8.5 assists and 5.5 rebounds per game.

Clark and the Fever will kick off their 2026 campaign at home on Saturday, May 9 with a matchup against Paige Bueckers and the Dallas Wings.

With Clark back in the fold and fellow franchise star Aliyah Boston signed up with a new 4-year, $6.3M extension, bookies have the Fever as one of the top three contenders for the WNBA title this year, trailing only the New York Liberty and the defending champion Las Vegas Aces.
