Caleb Williams paints his nails and people with nothing better to do absolutely hate him for it. Unfortunately, the people who don’t like him are unable to just let it go.

They must say something. They can’t help themselves.

As a result, the Caleb Cares Foundation was recently forced to delete a post in celebration of a young boy who stands up to bullies. The people who love to hide behind their keyboards were brutal.

Williams, who is likely to be drafted No. 1 overall in the upcoming NFL Draft, started to paint his nails during his freshman season at Oklahoma. They first went viral during the Red River Shootout, which also marked his breakout performance after taking over for Spencer Rattler. Utah later trolled him for his explicit message while at USC.

The painted nails, which are inspired by his nail technician mother, also led Williams to a unique NIL partnership. He became a part-owner of Faculty a modern grooming brand that specializes in nail art.

Meanwhile, they served as inspiration for a boy named Henry.

Williams’ foundation, which hopes to eliminate bullying and empower the underdog shared a sweet message on the nine-year-old’s behalf. It read:

Dear Caleb,

I am excited to watch you play in the NFL. My dad showed me that you also paint your nails and you are anti-bullying. I like that you stand up against bullies because I stand up to them too.

I’m excited to watch you play football with my dad who also paints his nails with me. I hope you have good luck in the NFL Draft.

— HENRY (Age 9)

The letter was originally shared by the Caleb Cares Foundation on X with an accompanying graphic. People, specifically the haters, were ruthless in response to the post. They not only crushed Williams, but took out their anger on a nine-year-old boy.

Caleb Cares had to delete the post because of the response it received.

That’s a shame.

Someone with one of the biggest platforms in sports right now is trying to make a difference. He knows he is a little bit different and embraced his quirks. He hopes that others will follow his lead in not shying away from who they are— like Henry.

People can’t comprehend it so they choose to hate it instead. Those people are lame.
